THE BRIEF

Ribble cycles offer a custom colour option for their bikes. Ribble had the idea of a spinning bike that changed colour with every revolution and tasked us with making this happen.

PRODUCTION

We custom built a motorised turntable to spin bikes 360’ with perfect precision and timing. Every time the bike came round to a head on view we switched it out for another paint job and merged the clips in post production. This created a video with seamless switching of bikes, demonstrating the varied paint jobs available with Ribble’s custom colour service. This was far more cost effective than using expensive computer generated imagery and had the benefit of seeing how the metallic paint caught the light whilst moving.
